Adil Khan is a Partner in AMA mainland office and Co-Founder of AMA in the ADGM. Adil is highly accomplished professional with a significant career in audit, finance, and advisory services. He holds numerous qualifications from esteemed bodies, including ICAP, ACCA, IIA, ACFE, ICPAP, and ICAEW. Adil graduated with a Commerce degree and a Master’s in Economics and Finance.

Adil has over 15 years of experience with top-tier audit firms, focusing on private and public interest entities, finance, IFRS advisory, In-Country Value (ICV), and quality control across various industries.

Adil spent around 8 years at Mazars UAE, where he significantly enhanced the firm’s audit and ICV practice. He has also held senior finance positions in major government groups such as Mubadala (Sanad) and ADQ (AD Ports), gaining extensive experience in the transport, logistics, ports, aerospace, and aviation sectors.

Adil is highly proficient in IFRS, having written over 20 articles on technical IFRS topics and submitted comment letters to the IASB. He leads the IFRS Desk at AMA, overseeing IFRS-related matters and its implementations across the UAE.

Additionally, Adil successfully led the implementation and launch of the ICV program for a government-owned entity, developing comprehensive ICV guidelines, policies, and procedures. He also played a vital role in government projects like EFQM, where he assisted the Corporate Finance Unit in thorough assessment submissions.
