As an Article Assistant, you will work under the supervision of qualified Chartered Accountants to gain hands-on experience in accounting, auditing, taxation, and financial management. This role is instrumental in your journey towards becoming a Chartered Accountant, as it provides you with practical exposure to various aspects of the profession.

Job Location: Irinjalakuda, Thrissur, Kerala

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Work closely with senior auditors to conduct audits of financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, maintaining accounting records, and reconciling accounts.
• Aid in preparing tax returns, conducting tax research, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, answer queries, and provide assistance as required.
• Maintain audit documentation, workpapers, and files in accordance with firm standards and regulatory requirements.
• Execute audit procedures as directed by senior auditors, including testing controls, verifying transactions, and examining supporting documents.
• Assist in preparing audit reports, management letters, and other client deliverables under the supervision of senior staff.
• Participate in quality assurance reviews of audit documentation and processes to maintain high standards of work quality.
• Collaborate with other team members to efficiently complete audit engagements within deadlines and budget constraints.

Requirements:

• Enrolled in or intending to enroll in the Chartered Accountancy program or equivalent
• Cleared any group of CA -Intermediate.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and auditing concepts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work
• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues
