Qualifications:

• 3 – 4 years of experience in the field of Corporate tax & Withholding tax compliance and advisory department in a professional service firm.
• Intermediate knowledge of GCC VAT & customs, international tax principles, transfer pricing & OECD initiatives (BEPS), UAE Experience will be an added advantage.
• A degree/qualification in accounting and/or tax (ACCA, CA, CPA, CMA or significant progress made towards the listed qualifications).
• Excellent interpersonal skills with fluency in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel & PowerPoint, ERP software.

Duties:

• Prepare individual, corporate & partnership tax returns.
• Review tax returns prepared by tax staff or interns.
• Review tax notices and drafts responses.
• Act as key client contact person for tax engagements.
• Assist in training of personnel from other departments of the firm and/or clients personnel.
• Conduct basic and complex tax research, author and collaborate on articles, blogs etc.
