Roles and Responsibilities:
Web Developer: Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining websites. Main focus is on the technical aspects of website development, including coding, programming, and implementing functionality. Key responsibilities include:
- Back-end Development: Building the server-side logic and database interactions to ensure proper functioning of the website.
- Website Maintenance: Regularly updating and troubleshooting issues on existing websites to ensure they remain functional and up-to-date.
- Testing and Optimization: Conducting tests to identify and fix any bugs or performance issues, as well as optimizing websites for speed and user experience.
Digital Marketer: Focuses on promoting a business or brand through various online marketing channels. Primary goal is to drive targeted traffic, increase brand awareness, and generate leads or conversions. Key responsibilities include:
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Optimizing websites to improve their visibility and ranking on search engines, thus attracting organic traffic.
- Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Advertising: Managing online advertising campaigns, such as Google Ads or social media ads, to drive targeted traffic to a website.
- Content Marketing: Creating and distributing valuable content, such as blog posts, videos, or infographics, to attract and engage the target audience.
- Social Media Marketing: Utilizing social media platforms to build brand presence, engage with customers, and drive traffic to the website.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitoring and analysing marketing campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, and providing insights to improve marketing strategies.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or other related fields
- Prior job experience in digital marketing or in related fields
- Good understanding of Search Engine Optimisation, marketing databases, email and social media marketing
- Prior experience in operating websites and marketing analytics tools like Net Insight, Omniture, Web Trends, etc.
- You will need to research and analyse data throughout the year.
- Due to multiple projects running simultaneously, the candidate will have to work on strict deadlines and multitask continuously.
- Executives are expected to keep themselves updated with the daily trends in the target customer market and be on the lookout for opportunities to tap into.
